An accomplished financial professional and humanitarian, Bradley DiTeresi serves as a partner in real estate development group Casas Hof Constructora e Inmobilaria, a company that builds condominium residences in Peru. Apart from his professional responsibilities, Bradley DiTeresi supports a number of national medical organizations, including the Alzheimer’s Association and the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA).
The Lupus Foundation of America promotes research, education, and advocacy to support individuals living with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease. The foundation’s national research program Bringing Down the Barriers was created in 1977 and continues to make significant advances in lupus research. In recent years, the program has focused on unexplored or underfunded areas of research, among them adult stem cell transplantation, environmental triggers, and pediatric lupus.
Bringing Down the Barriers also leads scientific initiatives to advance lupus drug development and find more effective treatment options, as well as to make the disease a higher priority on the United States healthcare agenda.
